WorkSafe

Accountability and Safety in the Workplace

Make radios part of your procedures.

WorkSafe helps track who last used a radio when it is lost or found broken.

It also helps employees stay safe through the day while protecting employers from potential downtime or liability. Human nature teaches us that signs and posters are easily overlooked and disregarded over time. WorkSafe brings safety into workers’ hands and stays with them through their shifts.

When employees start their shift and turn on the radios, they are asked to sign in with their employee ID and are then sent a notification or a list of questions to which they reply with a simple YES or NO button press. For instance:

  • Are you smelling gas?
  • Are you wearing your protective gear?
  • Is everyone around you practicing safe measures? (silent whistleblower)

A NO reply immediately notifies a supervisor via email.

In addition:

  • A “Stay safe and check your CO2 sensor” notification is sent periodically throughout the shift.
  • They can silently report a safety issue to a supervisor by pressing a button on their radios.

All the information is logged, and the solution is fully configurable, including its operation, messages, replies that cause the notification, and timings.

Using and training personnel is straightforward, and simple can be good.

WorkSafe is one of TRBOserver’s many features.
