20+Years of MOTOTRBO software

TABLETmedia began in 2001 in wireless VoIP and mobile video, voice and data for handheld devices. As Intel’s #1 partner for mobile video and voice on its StrongARM and XScale processors, our products were embedded into the platforms of major device makers — Toshiba, Intermec (now Honeywell), and Symbol Technologies (now Zebra) — integrated by NEC into its IP-telephony platforms (2002), and resold by Fujitsu as iFon VoIP on its iPAD retail computer (2003). When our iTalkie software turned mobile computers into walkie-talkies, the path to two-way radio was clear — and we brought that pedigree to MOTOTRBO, turning it from a voice device into an operations platform.

Our team are industry veterans whose backgrounds span digital media and communications — including building the first internet platform for user-uploaded video and contributing to the international (ITU) modem and voice-compression standards used for the past two decades.

Mission, vision & values

Mission

Take the two-way radios organizations already trust beyond voice — connecting them with the video, alarms, phones, and sensors around them, so the right people respond the moment something happens and every shift is safer and more productive.

Vision

A future where media and data flow seamlessly between disparate devices and technologies — so every system an organization relies on, however different, works together as one.

Values

We grow by listening. Great products should need no support — and when they do, we are there to help, promptly.
